Through the spirits of a lost tribe is a short video depicting a conceptual Native American history museum created for the 2009 Re:Vision Dallas architecture competition.
The museum takes the visitor on a journey through time, where they get to experience , Navajo culture, The height of their civilization and then onto their conquest by the Europeans.
There are no physical artefacts whatsoever within the museum as museums around the world have often acquired those artefacts by less than ethical means. Instead there are numerous holographic projections throughout the museum which convey the impermanent, nomadic nature of the Navajo people as well as the respect they have for nature and the ethereal.
It also gives the visitor the sensation of walking through the spirits of a lost tribe.
Kate & James, two scientists from a shady organisation are faced with a moral dilemma as they conduct an experiment in a remote forest. They believe their genetic experiment on Maya has failed, yet it is not possible to let her go as she could pose a severe risk to the public and expose the work of the corporation.
Kate wants to kill her, James is unsure, Maya awaits their decision…
